Definition of carpentry work:
Carpentry is the use of timber or timber products on-site to construct framework, walls, floors, doors, windows, stairs and the like. It also includes construction of formwork for concreting.
Requirements:
A licence is required to do any residential building work in NSW, including carpentry, that has a value exceeding $5000 (inc GST) for both the labour and the materials components of the work combined.
